The Story of St Barnabas
He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. Acts 11:24

Welcome to the website of St Barnabas the Apostle Parish, an English speaking parish worshiping in the patrimony of Catholic Church of the East in full communion with the Holy Father, the Pope of Rome. We celebrate under the auspices of St Peter the Apostle Catholic Diocese for Chaldeans and Assyrians. We hope this site will inform you about our ancient Catholic Church, her doctrines, teachings and history. Any Catholic properly prepared and in full communion with the Church may receive Holy Communion here.

As sons and daughters of our patron saint, St Barnabas the Apostle, we also hope to encourage our visitors in their faith and awareness of God, "who was in the Messiah, reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us." (2 Cor 5:19)

Our Eucharistic liturgy, “The Holy Offering,” is held every Sunday at 10:30AM We are located at 7529 Sunset Blvd, in Fair Oaks, California, just west of Sunrise and Sunset.

May the prayer,
O our Lord, of the holy Virgin,
the request of the blessed Mother,
the begging and pleading of her who is full of grace,
St Mary most Blessed,
Mother of Messiah,
and the prayers of holy St Barnabas the Apostle,
the request of the preacher of the Truth,
the begging and pleading of the illustrious contender,
the proclaimer of righteousness,
the sower of peace in creation,
the Lord's martyr and saint,
be with us continually -
a high wall and a strong house of refuge,
to save, deliver and guard our bodies and souls
from the evil One and his host always and forever,
O Lord of all: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
